The static level has a built-in metal film isolated silicon pressure sensor. The measured pressure acts directly on the isolation diaphragm.Using the piezoresistive effect of the semiconductor silicon material, the linear conversion of pressure to electrical signal is achieved by a Wheatstone bridge on the silicon sensitive chip.The signal is processed by specialised signal processing circuitry to form a standard signal output.
